Qworky performance experts created a strategy, tools and technology to immediately increase the number of qualified applicants to fill open positions and to select the safest, most qualified individuals. The program included integrating pre-hire assessments and structured interviews to an Applicant Tracking System. The pre-hire assessments included in-house validated personality assessments for three positions, EMTs, Dispatch and Supply Technicians. In addition, the system also included validated physical ability assessments and validated structured interviews, as well as interview training for selection committee personnel.
After two years of using the system, MedStar saw an improvement in all aspects of their recruiting and hiring processes. Specifically, the system has reduced voluntary turnover by 57% which means they are now hiring the right people!
